Time to go out and have a nice picnic! Well, as soon as designer Michael Jan gets around to making his portable folding Napkin Table a reality, that is. Until that time I guess we will just have to eat on the ground with the ants.

You say tomato, I say potato. Thompson & Morgan says TomTato.
What does it all mean? Well, as others have pointed out, this means that the TomTato is a ketchup and fries plant. It is a tomato plant grafted on to potato roots. It’s called the TomTato and it’s available from Thompson & Morgan.
It’s okay if you want to call the whole thing off.

Still looking for that perfect gift for the guy who has everything? The Personalized BBQ Branding Iron by Texas Irons is here to the rescue.
The branding iron can be personalized with 1-3 letters, making the monogrammed gift ideal for those that are hard to shop for. Of course, if they already have a monogrammed branding iron, you could always choose another letter combination. Or, better yet, buy two and have them spell out “mine.” That’ll be sure to start a debate over the grill, with everybody saying, “That’s mine!”
Nothing brightens up a meal like a fresh salad. The same could be said for rainy days… as long as you have a Vegetabrella on hand. From their Facebook page:
The Vegetabrella is an umbrella that looks like a Romaine lettuce. It was designed by Yurie Mano and is produced by Tokyo Noble – a company specialized in the production of umbrellas. Each Vegetabrella is handmade by Tokyo artisans.
Now come on how cool is that? As in cool and crisp like the salad veggie you know always wanted to impersonate!
You can pick one up here if you are from Japan, and you can get the Vegetabrella here if you are not.
When using barbecue sauce right out of the bottle there is little reason to pour it into a bowl before slopping it on the chicken and ribs. Why have an inbetweener? While emptying it out straight from the bottle might be fast, it’s not the best way to get maximum coverage, but slathering it on with a brush would do the trick. The Jokari Silicone Bottletop Baster lets grillmasters skip the mess and head straight to the good stuff. Just squeeze, baste and eat!
