There is nothing better than unlicensed handmade paraphernalia, especially when it comes to cultural items of the British Empire. The Doctor Who Tardis Teapot is a stoneware teapot formed into the shape of a blue police box. It might not travel through space and time like the Tardis from the BBC series Dr. Who, but it will get you through tea time just fine.

While some may say we have enough salty snacks without the need to add fictional items to the store shelves, others may say, “No Kitty, my Cheesy Poofs!” Cartman, along with everybody else, will finally get their chance from August 28th through September 18th. Frito-Lay has partnered with Comedy Central to produce the iconic package from South Park. The limited edition snack will have a hefty run of 1.5-million bags, finally giving fans of show a chance to try Cheesy Poofs–assuming Cartman doesn’t get to them all first.

Well, this Star Trek Kirk & Spock Salt & Pepper Shaker Set
We can’t help but think the Salt Vampire, or creature, from “The Man Trap” would be drooling at these, or at least at one of these officially licensed ceramic Star Trek salt and pepper shakers. Featuring the likenesses of Spock (Leonard Nimoy) and James Kirk (William Shatner) in classic Trek uniforms, you can keep this command team on your dining room table. Each shaker measures approximately 4.5″ tall X 1.5″ wide X 1″ deep.
But which one is salt and which one is pepper? I suspect these things matter to the average Trekkie. Or so I’m told.
Apparently Food Channel didn’t get the memo from General Mills. Betty Crocker and Pillsbury have declared 2011 to be The Year of the Pie. And here Food Channel is touting cupcakes as a continuing trend. For shame.
