Dirty Dishes Dangling In The Wind Sounds Good

Dishware Wind Chime

One of the dangers of ordering things off the internet sight unseen is you never really know exactly what is going to be in that package when it arrives on your doorstep. Sometimes you open the box only to be sorely disappointed. It could be because of size or construction quality, or the worst one, where we end up saying, ‘well, I could have just made that myself.’

In the case of the Dishware Wind Chime you know exactly what you’re going to get. It’s a buncha dishes tied together made to rattle around in the wind. Sure you could make this one yourself, but then you’d be hung out to dry (literally) at dinnertime. Besides, who wants to raid their cupboard for a mismatched place setting when you could just order one? (Item #32264)

Popcorn On The Stovetop — And Not That Puffy Foil Bag You May Be Thinking Of

Nordic Ware Grill Popcorn Popper, Model 06100

Tired of microwave popcorn? Air-popped got you down? Store-bought pre-popped not an option? Don’t worry, there is another way. Step back in time, and do it the old-fashioned way: on the stovetop.

A Square Placemat For A Round Table

Round Table Neoprene Placemats

You would think that not a lot of thought goes into placemats; they basically are just crumb catchers designed to mask sloppy eating habits, right? Other than the actual design that is printed upon them, you would be right to conclude that there isn’t much to them. Which is why the darn things are always, always rectangular.

For those that find themselves with a round table in their lives, they wish that a little thought would go into placemat design. They can bring ice cream to the moon, but they can’t bring a proper placemat to the table, these round-tablers might think. Unless they found themselves a set of these Round Table Neoprene Placemats. Cut to fit round tables, these placemats fit squarely flush against the edge of round tables just like a good placemat should. Good news for those who are tired of trying to fit a square peg into a round hole–or just the round table sloppy eaters who happen to need every inch of coverage.

Grill, Grill Against The Dying Of The Light

LED Triple Grill Light

It is time to ‘spring forward’ this weekend, meaning the 5’o’clock shadows will be held off until later in the evening. Of course, this means we will be spending more time outside. Outside, and cooking, that is. Even though we are afforded an ‘extra’ hour of sunlight, backyard grillers still know no bounds when it comes to time spent at the grill. So, Daylight Saving Time or not, expect grilling sessions to extend into the night.

All-in-1 Chair Lags Behind In Design

All-in-1 Chair and Foldable Cooler Tub

I see no flaws with having a portable cooler that does double duty as a chair: you can take it with you everywhere you go. Filled with ice during the hot summer months there would be no better way to fly (or sit). I do however see one major flaw with the All-in-1 Chair.

Roll your own hot dogs (wherever you want to)

Nostalgia Electrics Vintage Collection Carnival Hot Dog Cart with Umbrella

With the street food craze still going on in full swing, it’s time to get back to basics. While we may never know what the original street food really is (noodles in China being a good bet), the iconic street food item of the modern era in the U.S. (or at least NYC) is the hot dog. While the close companion of the hot dog, the hamburger, might best be prepared on a backyard grill, the hot dog just isn’t a hot dog unless it comes from the street. Or at least a cart.
