Handpresso: Espresso to go…anywhere

Handpresso Wild Portable Espresso Machine

If you’re like everybody else (and really, who isn’t?), then you are sure to have more than a mild appreciation for coffee. Unfortunately, there is not always a coffee house nearby to fuel our caffeine needs. The Handpresso Wild Portable Espresso Machine solves this problem by working without electricity. With only hot water, an ESE coffee pod and some elbow grease, you could have espresso style drinks anywhere.

All you need to do to enjoy espresso anywhere is pump up the machine until the pressure indicator is at 16 bar, and then press the start button. Up to 1.5-ounces of smooth espresso is served in an instant. As we all know: when it comes to coffee, soon can never be soon enough.

Why a chocolate hen, of course

The Ultimate Egg

While I always thought the old saying about chocolate milk coming from chocolate cows was just a joke, but after seeing The Ultimate Egg, I may have to reconsider. Somewhere in France there is a mystical barn where chocolate cows make chocolate milk, and chocolate hens produce chocolate eggs.

Now we have proof. From the product description:

“This confectionery marvel will have you asking, “Which came first? The chocolate or the egg?” Peel open the real brown hen egg imported from France and enjoy the chocolate praline egg that awaits inside.”

Deviled eggs on the go

Snap 'N Stack Egg-Tainer by Snapware

I have a friend who knows how to make two things: a bowl of cereal and deviled eggs. How this odd combination of minimal kitchen knowledge came be I never asked, but one thing is certain: those deviled eggs are good. (She also pours a mean bowl of milk.)

With the Snap ‘N Stack Egg-Tainer by Snapware those delicious deviled eggs can be safely and easily transported back to my house. Next time she has a party, I can simply show up with this double-tiered storage container and nestle the eggs into the rounded recesses. I would then be able to easily sneak away and safely carry up to 24 deviled eggs back home. I’m sure the remaining party guests wouldn’t mind mingling with bowls of cereal.

NitroCream custom-flavored ice cream in a flash

NitroCream N2-64

Ice cream. Gelato. Frozen Yogurt. Sorbet. All available at your fingertips. In exactly the flavor you want. With the NitroCream N2-64 you can custom create any flavor. Using the fast-freezing power of liquid nitrogen, the patented process blasts out chilly treats in as little as 1-3 minutes.

Simply add your ice cream base into the mixing bowl and let the machine do all the work. The N2-64 simultaneously mixes and freezes, creating whatever flavor you want on demand. Mix in locally grown fresh fruit for a truly customized flavor.

The NitroCream brand is marketed to business owners, and is available for lease or purchase. They certainly put on an impressive show. While at $35,000 I don’t expect to be outfitting my kitchen with one of these, considering the business potential for cafes and some small restaurants, I do expect to be enjoying a bowl of NitroCream sometime soon at a nearby local establishment. Part of the fun, of course, would be coming up with crazy flavors. Good thing you can make as little as one serving at a time!

Fondue Kissed with chocolate

Hershey’s Kiss Dessert Fondue Maker

If there is one thing that chocolate lovers agree on is that there is never enough chocolate. Well, how about melting down a batch and then dipping chocolate pieces into that? Because with the Hershey’s Kiss Dessert Fondue Maker I don’t see any other option. Sure, you could dip fresh strawberries into the iconic Hershey’s Kiss, but why would you do that when you could just dunk in a Hershey’s Kiss?

Music to Eat

Gastar miGrill Tabletop Gas Grill with Built-In Speakers

Some things just belong together. Music at a cookout is definitely a classic combination. But music in a gas grill? I’m not exactly sure why, but somebody thought it would be a good idea to combine a propane powered gas grill housed inside a base which includes two “powerful” speakers.

If you don’t mind a little grease with your iPod or other mp3 player, you can now pick up the Gastar miGrill Tabletop Gas Grill with Built-In Speakers. Highly portable, measuring two feet high, with a width of 17.5 inches, the grill has 160 sq. inches of cooking surface. The speakers are powered by 4 AA batteries or an included adapter, while the included drip pan and cooking surface are both dishwasher safe.

Sounds like the perfect complement to the Hampton Grease Band.
