Kids have it tough these days. With all the selfies, hashtags and twerking (voted some of the most annoying words of the year 2013, btw), how are they ever gonna grow up to be well adjusted adults? Now, they can’t even get to the champagne to celebrate the new year in drunken style like all their supposed role models.

Garlic is one of those tricky kitchen essentials. Where do you keep it? What does it go with? How long does it last in the refrigerator? The answers of course vary. Garlic works best at room temperature (fridge storage is not recommended), and what it goes with depends on where you are going! As in, better check with your date first.

The space underneath the ice cube tray can finally be put to some good use. It may not amount to much (or really anything), but those that appreciate nice clean lines outside their freezer as well as on the inside can finally relax.

Of course, using this freezer contraption might lead one to think about how to maximize storage space inside the container. Good thing then, that there is nothing that says one cannot fill up the bin to make one giant ice cube with funny dimples on top. But then what to put in all of those dimples?
Fresh herbs go a long way in brightening up a meal. Unfortunately, they do not go a long way sitting around waiting to be used. That is, until herb keepers came along. Some people wrap their herbs in wet paper towels, some keep them out on the counter, and then others look to the refrigerator door for inspiration (or at least storage).
