To be fair, they do say right there in the press release below:
And, of course, they’re a supplement to, not a substitution for, whole fruits and veggies. Eating the real thing gives you fiber, water and other irreplaceable nutrients.
Just so we’re all clear on that. Meanwhile, on to the veggies in a tube…
The popularity of those little 5-Hour Energy drinks unsurprisingly has inspired the makers of V8 to throw their hat into the energy shot ring. Also launching is the larger-sized V8 V-Fusion + Energy. Read on for details.
Even after all these years, do you still occasionally feel like you ‘could’ve had a V8’? It’s a classic advertising campaign that millions are familiar with. However, modern times require a bit more sophistication in communication and Campbell’s, makers of the vegetable and fruit juice blend, have done so by creating two new flavors to speak to more palates. The two new varieties of V8 V-Fusion vegetable and fruit juice are: Concord Grape Raspberry and Concord Grape Raspberry Light. See what Campbell Soup Company has to say about it after the jump.
Everybody loves dip; not everybody loves everything that goes with it. Carrots and cauliflower pieces are often passed by for a pretzel stick or some kind of chip. In the end, salty and starchy wins over healthy and natural. However all that reaching over the veggies is sure to cause some sort of guilt trip. Better to just spin them out of the way altogether.
The B. Smith Lazy Susan with Serving Bowls Set features a revolving base allowing for the best snacks to always be within reach. The four porcelain serving bowls each hold 11-ounces, while the top large bowl hold 21-ounces. The bowls are all microwave, oven and dishwasher safe so clean up and prep is a breeze. A small tea light in the center helps to keep the dip warm, no matter how many broccoli florets get passed by.
Steamed veggies are great, but the one problem they have is that they require steam. The fastest, simplest way to achieve this is to boil water. In a pot with a steam basket. In a pot that happens to be dirty. Oh well, leftover pizza sounds good too.
Refrigerators can become cluttered places. Adding to the confusion, amidst all the fresh food waiting to become meals, leftover ingredients lurk behind every corner. Sometimes you may know that you have a half-used tomato, but actually finding it becomes a chore in and of itself. Not so, when using the Produce Saver Set.
Designed to look like the food item they contain, the storage devices keep freshness and flavor in, while making it easy to find what you are looking for in the fridge. The twist-lock plastic containers are sold in sets of two and come as a red and yellow onion set, a garlic and tomato set, or as a lemon and lime set.
***UPDATE 12/4/24: I hope nobody ate the produce saver set because it is no longer available! Here though is a 4 Pack Fruit and Vegetable Storage Containers Set for Fridge, complete with handy dandy stickers for instant produce recognition. Except for whatever that yellow thing is in the bottom left.
