Clean The Kitchen With Bacon

ThinkGeek Sizzling Bacon Kitchen Towel Dish Towel

Looks good, doesn’t it?

Say hello to the internet’s favorite food in dish towel form: The ThinkGeek Sizzling Bacon Kitchen Towel Dish Towel. When draped over your shoulder while frying up some bacon, you could not look more dashing. Of course, that requires keeping in mind which one is which. While having a real piece of bacon draped over your shoulder is certainly fashionable, trying to clean the kitchen with bacon probably won’t work. Then again, bacon is pretty magical.

Google’s reach is everywhere. Soon we will all be carrying around Nexus tablets and smartphones, wearing Google Glass… and drinking from Google mugs.

The Google Logo Coffee Mug Promotional Novelty 11 Oz by Go Banners is a basic coffee mug with the Big G’s stamp of approval (or at least their stamp). No word yet if a matching coffeemaker that doesn’t do evil, remembers your coffee history and tells you where you are going will become available.

Nokia Constellation Microwave Cooks For April Fools’

Nokia 5AM-TH1N6 Constellation Microwave Oven

The best part about April Fools’ Day is when the jokes are for real (see: Gmail, ThinkGeek, etc). So while the Nokia 5AM-TH1N6 Constellation Microwave Oven might seem like an April Fools’ Day prank, is the concept of a “high-resolution PureFood camera that automatically shares pictures of ready meals with friends and family via social networks” really that far off that mark? Food bloggers whipping out their phones would disagree. Especially when considering how photogenic microwaveable meals can be.

We can all look forward to:

The new Nokia 5AM-TH1N6 has even more innovative features. The device comes with the latest eye-tracking technology, which stops the food from rotating when you look at it, and it automatically adjusts the temperature depending on how hungry you look.

Available in blue cheese cyan, lemon yellow and liquorice black sometime in the future depending on how gullible we are. Happy April Fools’ Day!

Eat It Or Wear It (Don’t Eat It)

Fake Food Hatanaka

So the waffle tongs as hair clip idea didn’t seem to catch on. Hard to believe, but true. However, that doesn’t mean food and hair don’t have a future together. (Soup serving waiters, please close your ears.) As far as hair accessories go, those offered by Fake Food Hatanaka look the most delicious. Yup, wearing fake food in the hair is a thing in Japan. But don’t judge, plenty of us have walked around for a week with ketchup in the hair after a big food fight, right? Right?
