The Canine’s Culinary Christmas Cupcakes

The Canine's Culinary Christmas Cupcakes

Don’t forget the furry ones when Santa Paws comes to visit. Check out these cupcakes for dogs available from Hammacher Schlemmer.

The Canine’s Culinary Christmas Cupcakes:

Crafted individually in a bakery specializing in dog treats, each cupcake is made from natural ingredients such as steel cut oats, peanut butter, and milk, and topped with a yogurt-based icing.

Wait a minute. There does not seem to be any kibbles and/or bits in that description. Actually, they sound pretty good. Hmm, perhaps these holiday-themed cupcakes won’t make it to the floor. Oh, wait. Coal. Never mind. Here, boy! Here, boy!

Happy holidays to all (Fido too)!

Ho! Ho! Hot! Sriracha Candy Canes!

Sriracha Candy Canes

Somehow, all of the television commercial-makers, store display-makers and aisle filler-uppers decided that it was time for Christmas. It came down upon us suddenly and the now-ubiquitous red and green holiday decor is everywhere.

Coincidentally, Sriracha is now everywhere too.

It was only a matter of time, but now we have Sriracha Candy Canes. The real question is how it took so long for this to happen. With even Subway getting in on the Sriracha craze with their chicken or steak melt sandwiches, it’s a good bet there is more Sriracha-flavored craziness to come. Which of course is a good thing. The delicious and spicy condiment deserves all the taste buds it can get.

Rumor even has it that a certain long-time hot sauce maker that too has iconic bottles (hint: they use tabasco peppers) is planning a Sriracha style hotsauce. Ho! Ho! Hot!

Spam Nuts

Hamakua Macadamia Nut Company Spam Mac Nuts

Guess what? The Spam Macadamia Nuts are in stock. Also available in a Spam Gift Set.

PSA: Also available on Amazon, but it is less expensive to get them directly from the company in Hawaii. Plus, then you can add some “peppah” nuts to your order to wash down (or burn away) the taste of Spam!

Thompson & Morgan’s TomTato Tomato Potato Plant

You say tomato, I say potato. Thompson & Morgan says TomTato.

What does it all mean? Well, as others have pointed out, this means that the TomTato is a ketchup and fries plant. It is a tomato plant grafted on to potato roots. It’s called the TomTato and it’s available from Thompson & Morgan.

It’s okay if you want to call the whole thing off.
