Marshawn, Marshawn, Marshawn!

Looks like the Darrell Bevell, the offensive coordinator for Seattle (for now…) could have used an in-game snack before making that play call. All he had to do was let Marshawn Lynch run the ball three times and the Seahawks would have won the Super Bowl. Oh well. Maybe next time Marshawn will share his Skittles.

Ho! Ho! Hot! Sriracha Candy Canes!

Sriracha Candy Canes

Somehow, all of the television commercial-makers, store display-makers and aisle filler-uppers decided that it was time for Christmas. It came down upon us suddenly and the now-ubiquitous red and green holiday decor is everywhere.

Coincidentally, Sriracha is now everywhere too.

It was only a matter of time, but now we have Sriracha Candy Canes. The real question is how it took so long for this to happen. With even Subway getting in on the Sriracha craze with their chicken or steak melt sandwiches, it’s a good bet there is more Sriracha-flavored craziness to come. Which of course is a good thing. The delicious and spicy condiment deserves all the taste buds it can get.

Rumor even has it that a certain long-time hot sauce maker that too has iconic bottles (hint: they use tabasco peppers) is planning a Sriracha style hotsauce. Ho! Ho! Hot!

Carrot Lollipops

Carrot Lollipops

Those terrible hollow chocolate bunnies have got to go.

Luckily, there is a new treat in town. These Carrot Lollipops might not have any actual carrot in them, but hey, the kids won’t mind. Don’t worry, they do manage to get a vegetable in there. Spinach!

Here’s the ingredient list: Organic tapioca syrup, vegan cane sugar, citric acid, natural flavor from oranges and limes, colored with beta carotene, annatto and spinach concentrate.

Candy Cane Tea (Infuser)

DCI Candy Cane Tea Infuser

Candy canes are nice to look at; eating them… well, eh. Let’s just say there are plenty of other candy options that many would reach for first. Perhaps that’s why they are only plentiful during one time of the year. (Just like the evil creation known as candy corn.) Luckily there is a way to have your candy and not have to eat it too.

The DCI Candy Cane Tea Infuser is a clever way to enjoy the ubiquitous holiday ‘treat’ without having to pry it away from your teeth hours later. Fill with tea leaves, steep as desired and relax to a nice cup of tea. Perhaps while hanging real candy canes on the tree.

Product Description:
Have a delightful cup of tea at the Holidays with this Candy Cane Tea Infuser. This red and white striped infuser will hold your favorite tea leaves and brew you the perfect cup of tea. Simply put loose tea inside the candy cane, close and hang from your mug. Fill with hot water and brew tea to your desired strength. Remove infuser and enjoy.
