It is pretty difficult to avoid the occasional donut. They show up at every meeting, function, and hole-in-the-wall shop. Donuts are delicious. And not very healthy. One way to avoid inevitable donut disasters is to make your own. In the oven. The Wilton Nonstick 6-Cavity Donut Pan is specially designed to keep your donut cravings out of the deep-fryer and into the oven. And of course, if you are amongst the brave, perhaps they could even be made without frosting or icing. Well, it could happen, right?

Used Cookware As Art
There is no doubt that cuisine can at times transport one to another place, but that place doesn’t necessarily have to be terrestrial. Proof can be seen in Christopher Jonassen’s book, Devour. What may look like a faraway world is in fact something else quite down to earth: pots and/or pans. Cookware may only last so long, but given immortality through photography, close-up photos offer a new perspective, giving us a glimpse into a world that no longer exists. Or at least should not be used to cook any more meals.

Bake A Heart For V-Day
Have a heart this Valentine’s Day… and bake it! Or use the stovetop. Either way, the Le Creuset Enameled Cast-Iron 2-Quart Heart Casserole can handle it. Unlike those dinner reservations that fell through. It pays to be prepared in more ways than one on Valentine’s Day!
Inside-Out Waffles
Waffles are well known not only for being delicious, but also for having a distinctive shape. Every delicious pocket waits to be filled with syrup, powdered sugar or anything else eaters can come up with. But would it still be a waffle without the pockets? The Nordic Ware Egg Waffle Pan says yes. The uniquely-shaped pan creates inside-out waffles, better known as ‘egg-waffles’. Instead of drowning waffle-pockets in syrup, the idea is to roll it up–with or without a filling–and take it to go. Or better yet, tear apart the individual ‘eggs’ and share for a unique snack.
Poachpod Wrangles Poached Eggs
Eggs, besides being incredible and edible, are slippery little rascals. Break one open and it rarely stays in one place. No problem when it comes to scrambled eggs, but poaching them requires a little more wrangling.
The Fusionbrands Poachpod Stainless Non-Stick Egg Poaching Tool is a good way to make sure your runny eggs don’t run away. Featuring a non-stick interior and silicone handles, all that is required to poach an egg is to float the Poachpod on boiling water. After adding an egg, of course.
Apple Cooker Set Cores And Cooks
An apple a day may keep the doctor away, but after a while it can boring eating the same thing day in and day out. For a change of pace try baking an apple. Add cinnamon, a little brown sugar and a dab of butter and you got yourself a sweet treat that’s good to eat. Don’t bake the core though; you’re going to need to remove that. Also, you’re going to need something to cook it in… something like this Mastrad Fruit Cooker Set. Featuring a combination scoop and corer to complement the fun apple shape, the silicone cooker has the added benefit of reminding you of what’s in the oven.
