Pressed For Tea? Press Your Own

There are a great deal of options available to any on-the-go caffeine aficionado. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean the right choice is always available. More so than any other group of people, coffee and tea-drinkers know exactly how they take it, and their preferred option simply isn’t always available. For tea-drinkers, if this happens more often than not, perhaps it’s time to explore other options (without eliminating your favorite blend).

The Tovolo Tea Press Tea Infuser is a reusable tea press that allows for loose-leaf teas to be brewed anywhere a hot cup of water is available. Simply pack the tea in, press and plunge. The fast acting plunger compacts the tea against the infuser, producing a full-bodied cup of tea while reducing messy drips that would otherwise hinder the portability factor so important to a tea gadget of this design.

Word to the wise however, as some online comments peg this portable device as hard to clean, but the fact that it is dishwasher-safe should help out somewhat. Maybe soaking it in water would help loosen stubborn tea bits. (And then you can drink that resulting brew while you wait for the dishwasher cycle to finish!)
